Portable traffic control devices will allow buses and residents only to pass in one direction at a time with a reduced speed limit of 40km/h.

Non-residents should use the diversions as listed.

Work will also occur from Sun 12 Jan to Thu 23 Jan, and from Mon 27 Jan to Tue 25 Feb on the same days and times.

Work will not occur on Fri or Sat nights, public holidays or over the Xmas period from 20 Dec to 10 Jan.

Southbound: Old Northern Rd, Pennant St, Showground Rd, Windsor Rd and Pitt Town Rd.

Northbound: Pitt Town Rd, Windsor Rd, Showground Rd, Pennant St and Old Northern Rd.

The following restricted access heavy vehicles are not permitted to use Showground Rd.

• All heavy vehicles operating at HML
• PBS 2B vehicles operating under the National Class 2 Performance Based Standards Vehicle (Tier 1) Authorisation Notice
• All PBS vehicles operating under the National Class 2 Performance Based Standards (High Productivity) Authorisation Notice.

These vehicles should use Old Northern Rd, Terminus St, Cecil Ave, Old Northern Rd, Windsor Rd, Briens Rd and Old Windsor Rd in both directions.
